Page Design: Web Site Planning Worksheet General Questions We provide the following worksheet for your convenience. Please print it out, fill it out to the best of your ability, and bring or send us a copy (you keep the original) when you are ready for an estimate. Essay questions should be answered on a separate sheet. They will help you refine your thinking about what you want in a web site, and will direct us to produce the kind of site you are looking for the first time. Here, we’ll get more specific. Whether you intend to supply all text or want to work with us to define the text, the following questions may help you clarify your thinking. Will you need us to take pictures to put on your web site? Marketing Once your site is built you will need to let people know it exists. We recommend that you include your web site address on all company stationery, business cards, advertisements, brochures, flyers, postcards, and any other place you can think of to put it including but not limited to: your car bumper, your storefront window, any press releases, any custom bags or boxes you use to package your products. We will submit your site to the major search engines at your request. We will also, at your request, look for sites that are compatible with yours to request "reciprocal links". Maintenance Fresh content is necessary for repeat business. Your site may or may not require this much maintenance. A "Brochure" site will require less maintenance than a "Community" web site.
